Originally from Monroe L.A., DJ PANIC moved to Indianapolis back in 89'. He started DJing in 95 making appearances in his bedroom window for the kids around the neighborhood.
During his frequent jam sessions he made custom mixtapes for all of his friends to play at parties. Panic soon became a hit at all the parties, and his mixtapes were selling
to fast to remain customized. Dj Panic soon ventured into highschool @ Lawrence North H.S. on the north east side of Indianapolis, where he made every attempt to be heard by his peers.
Fast foward to 1998 DJ PANIC won his first dj battle @ the local music store dj battle, finally realizing that a future as a dj was a resonable goal. From there DJ PANIC grew even more interested
in music and how it was made. DJ PANIC then got his first job working as a cashier at that very same music store. After pleading with the manager of the music store to be promoted, he was denied.
After being denied a promotion, he decided to accept a job @ best buy in car audio, keeping in mind that the rules of electricity, amperage and voltage were the same. After working @ Best buy for a few years and alot of
researching on the subject of sound design and recording techniques he applied @ the Guitar Center hoping for the best. DJ PANIC worked @ the Guitar Center for a total of three years, all the while
absorbing the immense amount of technical knowledge that was available from customers and co workers. Panic soon became "that dude" when it came to anyone in Indianapolis needing any help,
technical support, or even a good deal when hard times came around and djs need needles but couldnt aford them. Working at the guitar center was no joke, while working there dj panic found himself
in discussions about new equipment and the specs with lil jon(BME), Charlie Tuna(Jurassic5), Jon Mayer, and even some classic rock artists asked me for tips on recording. Needless to say, he made alot
of friends and industry contacts. DJ PANIC worked to plan the guitar center spinoff, and arranged sponsorships and prizes to be given away at non GC affiliated events. After leaving guitarcenter dj panic set his
priorities and set out on a promotional rampage pressing up and giving away more than 6k copies of his most recent mixtape. Soon after he began to play house parties, frat/serority parties at IU, and
ISU. The rest is history, dj panic has now been a guest mixer on whhh 96.3, created and planned events in Indy, dj's for Concerts, and at nightclubs all around Indianapolis. Panic was recently nominated for the Southern Entertainment
Awards "Mixtape of the Year: 2006" along side fellow indianpolis dj, dj bnasty. Since then Dj Panic has recently been added to the roster for the Hood Hard Hitmakers, and is taking the nation by storm
with his unique style of mixing, sound design, music production and graphic design. In addition dj panic has recently done mixtapes for Gerch Entertainments Jim-E-Mac, Kilo G, Big Tun, Y.G. A.k.a. Trendsetta da mac, Dangerous minds, 2 Da Hard way, and G-Stak. Dj Panic is a beast!!! Get Down or Lay Down!!!

Influences:
DJ PANIC was born and raised in Monroe, La and moved to Indianapolis, 15 years ago with his family. A great move provided him with lots of opportunity and some great relationships. DJ PANIC became a DJ at the age of 17, focusing heavily on the art of the turntable and educating himself on the 4 elements of Hip-Hop, Breakdancing, the emcee, graffiti, and of course the DJ. After learning about origins of Hip-Hop and the music that started the movement, DJ PANIC was hooked!
DJ Panic is not only as a Hip-Hop/Rap fan but a fan of music in general. In High School DJ Panic took several music classes, from music theory to Jazz Band and excelled in all of them. Holding first chair in all of the instruments he played. DJ Panic set out on battling for a few years but after few wins he decided that being a "Battle DJ" was not going to put him in the position to play music for the masses.
DJ PANIC then set out to promote himself as a DJ any way he could, pressing up and giving away more than 6k copies of his mixtape with DJ Drew J in the streets, and in the clubs, at work, and to all of his friends ,he was finally building a name for himself. In 2006 DJ PANIC and DJ Bnasty were nominated for the Southern Entertainment Awards "Mixtape of the year", and in 2008 he got nominated again at the Southern Entertainment Awards and was nominated by the Justo Mixtape awards.
