Some things are just meant to go together, peanut butter & jelly, kool-aid & sugar, and Tim & Darren, collectively know as Key Pusherz, a team of hip hop producers that's ready to take over the industry. Darren "Chubby" Stephens (22), a up and coming hip hop producer, born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2004 to further his music career, while working at Wal-Mart he meet his soon to be partner Timothy Reese (20), another up and coming producer, born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. They liked each others style so they came together to form a production team in 2005, and they named them selfs Key Pusherz. The two have been making tracks individually since there early teenage years, starting off working with Fruityloops and a boss Dr-5. Now days they have upgraded to an MPC 2000XL, Korg Triton, E-MU Turbo Phatt module, Propellerhead Reason, and Protools. Neither one of them are trained with piano but you can't tell when listening to there tracks, there sound is so unique with a gangster touch. Some of the producers that influenced them are Beats by the Pound, DJ Montay, Jazze Pha, Lil Jon, and others. After meeting there manager Jacey Kidd at a car show in Atlanta promoting the Southwest Click who he also manages, they produced the track Break it Down for there mixtape. Things seemed to be going good for them, they had interest from Field Mob and other artist, but business was in slow motion. After getting some tracks to Young Jeezy, the grind finally paid off, they got there first major placement on his second album titled The Inspiration, which he recorded over 100 songs for. There song made the final album cut of 16 songs. The song became Keep it Gangsta which features two of his artist from his company Corporate Thugz Entertainment, Slick Pulla and Blood Raw. The Key Pusherz are on there grind, they are currently working on 3 tracks with Fabo of D4L for his upcoming solo album titled Gik Muzik scheduled for release in first quarter 2007. They also have a lot of interest from other major artist in the industry. They soon hope to make there mark in music as some of the producers they look up to. The MixxBosses
