About Me

travel layout powered by HOT FreeLayouts.com / MyHotCommentsFor some, the rocky road to success isn't easy to navigate, but to some, they're not taking no for an answer. Take Chicago rapper Sincere for instance. After working for years writing, producing and developing himself as a rapper, Sincere realized the game isn't the same, what use to be called the rap industry is now the...Entertainment Business. Proving he knew exactly what the game needed, just 21 years of age... Sincere takes matters into his on hands by Taking a huge step from The Midwest to the South.Raised by his Grandparents in Chicago, Sincere learned at a young age how to improve upon the not so perfect conditions around him. “I felt like my back was against the wall... I barely saw my mother... and when I did it was hi and bye,” says the rapper born Deon Rogers. “My father wasn’t in the picture so I had to learn from a lot of older people. I saw many things growing up and I decided that I didn’t want to become a statistic. So I stayed focused.”In the Early 90's, Sincere found himself growing up in the very much respected streets of Chicago.” with no guidence, I quickly turned to the gang life. After watching my uncles get fast money, some being locked up and shot up... I knew I wanted more than just that." while others ditched and didn’t pay attention... Sincere took advantage of his opportunity to learn, with hopes of one day making it out the hood. Following in his older cousin shadow, he began to rhyme... and once he got started... wasn’t no stopping him...During high school, Sincere started working more on his music after a crucial injury ruined his basketball career. Only 16... Sincere started performing at shows and appealing more to his peers as not only a rapper... but a Superstar! “I was doing all types of things,” says the Chi-Lanta MC today. “I was working, going to school, playing ball, and still finding time to mess with this music. I was just trying to figure out what it was that I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to do entrepreneurial things, but I was still trying to find myself." "To keep it funky... at first I was only rapping just because I could and the ladies loved it....but after a while I started catching feelings for it, It was almost like a relationship.”After graduating from high school... Sincere found out it was time to take matters into his on hands. With opportunities of going to college, Sincere quickly denies, with his passion greater for something other than school.... Music...With only 2 coins left in his pocket, young Sincere (determined to make it) moves from Chicago to what he calls “Ghetto Hollywood”…. Atlanta. ”When I first got out there I was sleepin on these asian people couches. I met the daughter in Illinois at The Taste Of Chicago.” Sincere quickly gave streets a rest and found work.” I needed some kinda income to pay for studio time.”One Afternoon, right after Sincere got off work he heads to the Studio (not knowing this was the day for change). As Sin is recording his first Atlanta Single (Look At My Jeans), DG Yola walks in the Studio(Yola had the smash Atlanta anthem “I aint gonna let Up). DG Hears the talent and ambition in young Sin’s voice and quickly wants to sign him to his record label “Power Hittas”. Even though no paper work was signed, after meeting DG’s manager Lady B (who at the time became Sincere’s manager), Sincere verbally agreed to be an Artist with Power Hittas. After months of being DG’s hype man, touring, recording, and performing, he Sincere realizes he wants more for his career. Jealousy starts to erupt when Sincere starts doing his own shows and music. “Yola was start to hate on me sayin I was tryna bight his style, so I quickly left Power Hittas, knowin I can do it without them”.Now, with a point to prove not only to Chicago, but DG Yola, Sincere is going at the game harder than ever. Just listen and be ready for what he has in stored for the music industry.
