It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.

About Me

Born and raised in Milwaukee and Brookfield, Wisconsin. Loving living in Minneapolis with my perfect husband. We have 3 lovely sons: My son is 23, Hubby's 29 year old gave us a precious granddaughter and grandson, and Hubby's 28 year old gave us a darling grandson.I was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in June of 1996 with symptoms dating back to 1990. Lupus has changed my life, but in some ways you might not expect. Even if you don't try, sometimes life will make lemonade out of lemons for you!I have adorable Dachshund children as well: The Mighty Brutus, The Baroness of Love, Lucy; and The Principessa Berta, affectionately called NeeNee by her mommy.

My Interests

Learning, reading, spending time with loved ones, music, new experiences, Lupus Awareness, HIV/AIDS awareness, Ross the Intern from The Tonight Show, Ross's Blog, RossBlog Chat, and PERFUME! I love fragrance and I collect miniature perfumes.

I'd like to meet:

People who make me laugh and smile. Kindness and humor are the keys to my heart. I'd love to meet Jack Nicholson, Robert DeNiro, Augusten Burroughs; and would have loved to have met Mary Magdalene, Saint Catherine of Siena, and Coco Chanel.
