About Me

ABOUT OLIVER:
Using a hoe and a large glass of water, I once single-handedly defended a small village in the Amazon basin from a horde of ferocious army ants. I play bluegrass cello. I had trials for Manchester United and I am the subject of numerous spy-on-the-wall documentaries. I sleep once a week; when I do sleep, I sleep in a chair. My influences are Stage Musicals of the 60's, Gothic Architecture and industrial strength deafness. (so,please speak a little louder)
ABOUT JOHN:
I' m hitting the drums for about 17 years now. I did have my education the classical way and also played in different bands. I love the pressure/time working in studios and get a real kick playing live. Gear: Gretsch renown purewood (walnut) . I also used sonorus/thunder/tama/pearl/sonor/...not bad but my Gretsch kit is the real thing. Practicing almost every day, or mountainbiking to stay fit :p. I' m a proud endorser of Balbex drumsticks, Amedia cymbals and Big dog drumbags. More info on my personal space/site. Always in the mood after a gig for a few rounds of beer ;-) Visit my personal Myspace at www.myspace.com/drumazoid
ABOUT GEERT:
I've been active in the Heavy Metal business since 1987. In those days I started as a 6-string guitar player in several young metal bands and I had the privilege to play my kind of music with the better musicians of my neighbourhood. In 1996 I picked up the 4-string bass guitar, in order to keep a very talented line up on the roll. I had a good feeling in playing this instrument and since then it was the perfect instrument for me. Always searching and never finding a decent bassist drove me to start playing it myself. Nowadays, I play the 5-string bass. When I am not on stage or in my home studio playing and composing some music, I am hanging out at the bar talking, laughing and singing ... (with a cold one off course). Since the 20th of August 2005, I am married to Hilde who is a fabulous musician. She plays the saxophone, a little piano, and she has a nice voice too. Together we play all round music gigs with 'The Spirits'.
ABOUT DAVE:
I started my musical career as a singer in the early 90’s. After trying out some musical stuff with several musicians I finally was in a first line up. It was a great experience to be in a band and I learnt a lot those days. Mid 90’s, after having some musical education, I bought myself a keyboard. Since then I am constantly occupied with this instrument. During the years I was in different line up’s playing different sorts of music. Nowadays, I am working with more complex and professional gear. When I ‘m not performing or rehearsing, I am occupied with family business. When I have some spare time during the weekend, I like to go to the pub to have a few beers.
