About Me


Make a slideshow - it's easy! Bass Coast Landcare Network is a not fo profit organistion connecting and developing working partnerships with landcare groups, coast action groups, farmers, schools, urban residents, universities, environmental groups, local government, tourism, small business, industry, individuals, artists, natural resource management agencies, community groups, old and young. Actions are fed from the bottom up, with the community deciding what is needed for their local area. Works include revegetation, seed collection, salinity control, best practice farming techniques, greenhouse reduction, junior landcare, whole farm planning, wetland restoration, coastal rehabilitation, weed control, education, research and improving water quality. Bass Coast Landcare Network is situated in South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. The Network began in 2003 however the area has a long history of Landcare, with some of Australia's best known and earliest forming Landcare groups.
