The Southern California Environmental Club is a conservation organization designed to serve as a medium through which people with environmental interests can both socially interact and become active in spreading the message of conservation. Our goal as a club is to promote environmental activism within the local communities of southern California by holding monthly meetings where people can discuss ideas and by organizing beach clean-ups, recycling projects, hikes, etc. Though we are sometimes blinded by our everyday lives we must realize that in the last hundred years an immense portion of our natural environment has experienced complete destruction; how we act today will determine what will be left tomorrow!
