"The first band of the evening was rock n roll four-piece Riot Night. A sound that mixes indie-rock (both contemporary and 90â€™s Brit-Pop) and classic blues-based rock n roll for an instantly familiar and likeable noise â€“ yet with some real depth thanks to some well-written material with intelligent lyrics and an abundance of energy. Catchy riffs, strong solos, Willâ€™s raw vocal and sharp, punchy beats from Jon created some first-rate songs that showed a real talent for composing and performing from a band with a strong, well-formed identity and the ability to back up their ideas".
