ANDERSON BASIC FAQ:
WHAT IS THE ANTHONY ANDERSON PROJECT/PLANET ANDERSON INC.? It's a collection of songs and recordings, roughly from 1995 to today...stuff that's been going on in suburban S. London. A document of my spare time I suppose. Sometimes it's a live band too, but not very often.
IS IT ANYTHING TO DO WITH DEATH IN VEGAS? Yes, I work for them. I play guitar on their records and at their gigs. Before I was in DIV I was in Thrashing Doves.
WHAT'S YOUR REAL NAME? Ian John Button.
WHAT KIND OF STUFF DO YOU DO/LIKE? 60's music, electronic music, strings, nice melodies, feedback, drum fills.
WHAT DO YOU WRITE ABOUT? Day to day stuff, ghosts, Canterbury, gliders, cross dressing, the drummer from The Corrs, being in a band. Stuff I dream about.
WHAT ELSE ARE YOU UP TO APART FROM THIS? Producing & recording with Paul Hawkins, The Beat Maras, Carla Trevaskis, Char Johnson etc, playing & recording with Dot Allison, drumming for Thee Awkward Silences and Deep Cut, teaching, trying to ride my bike etc.....
