The band was formed in Warszawa, Poland, in 2002 by Kuba Mikoszewski and Tomek Golebiowski.
Soon joined by Michal Tabor (bass) and Pawel Majewski (drums), guys started playing
together. Early compositions mainly sounded like classic hard rock,
however influenced by melodic solos by Metallica.
For almost two years nothing interesting happened until Krzysiek Pawlak
replaced Pawel on drums. A few months later, in the early fall of
2004 Michal Wysocki joins the band to settle down for the rhythm guitar.
From then on Kuba shows his creativity mainly as a lead guitarist.
The efforts of the quintet gave the band an oportunity to play
the first concert ever as "Synergia". Noone remembers the songs
being played then, noone remembers the band's name. And that's good :)
Soon after the gig Michal Tabor left the band. Reasons were quite simple:
expectations and creative directions just didn't match. The band started
to look for bass player who would suit its music style. Soon the problem
found its solution. Olgierd, who at that time didn't even have his own
bass guitar made a good impression during the interview. Along with skills
and big potential Olgierd was a really weird but nice guy. So he was in.
Few months of hard work let guys to gain more skills and most
of all recognize their very own expectations as for the music
and personal aims. Unfortunatelly Krzysiek wasn't making enough
progress to continue with the band. Moreover he lacks consequence
and strong will. The rest decided to find someone new to bring
some fresh air on drums. After Krzysiek's departure in the spring
of 2005 the band stayed without a drummer for the next six months.
After listening to eleven or twelve drummers it was pretty obvious
that the situation didn't look good, because none of them convinced
the guys with his/her (there was one lady drummer) skills.
And then, by accident, Tomek found out that his friend's sister
is dating a drummer. Bartek Lewandowski was a bit different with his style
of playing. More subtle and improvising than usual hard rockin'
drummer. However, in the end it didn't matter. There was
a big preassure of having a drummer to make any step forward.
Bartek made his way into the lineup.
The band set a recording date in the early spring of 2006.
Four of the eight songs could be found on the demo cd, unfortunatelly
full instrumental until today.
After hardworking period and recording session, next few months
were like being lost in the dark for the band. The blackout
period finished with departure of Bartek in the beginning of Summer.
Once again the history made its turn leaving the rest with their own
patience. After the summer holidays the band decided to proceed with the
interviews. A few guys just came and went. There was no hope.
Accidentally Michal's friend gave him a phone number to a guy
who was said to play drums. Actually noone knew if this was true.
Later on it came out that Pawel Makolski possesed the skills.
The band started with new hopes and power. And it was the time
when UNBREAK came to life.
With little difficulties and some minor timeouts in the meanwhile
the band finally managed to record its first full demo EP, during
summer holidays of 2007. Guys were happy and satisfied, although
everyone knew it was just the first step, just the beginning...
Life is weird and likes to be malicious. Pawel disappeared in some
strange circumnstances leaving the band once again without a drummer.
Fortunately UNBREAK soon found the right person to reign behind
the drums - Michal "Rudy" Wisniowski. The king in his kingdom.
And that's the whole story.
...IT'S ALL ABOUT GOING FURTHER & FURTHER!!!
