Subversion formed in the Fall of 2005 when the last two members joined and completed the line up. They all shared the same ambition in music and goals for the future. After two months of constant practice their first show was New Years Eve 2005 in Dallas, Texas. After their first show, Subversion began to make an impression on Dallas and surrounding cities. They have remained strong with the original line up and continue to grow stronger with each show. Their charismatic live performance attracts a diverse audience and has been described as intense, epic and emotional. Supported by brutalizing guitar harmonies, gut wrenching vocals, climatic technical drumming and ground shaking bass, Subversion leaves their audience wanting more. After a three-song demo release in 2006, Subversion found the professional sound they were looking for with their latest self titled EP produced by Larry Summers at TLA Studios. Each band members musical roots bring a mixture of compassion and open-minded writing abilities. Everyone collaborates on each song and has put forth ideas on instruments other than their own including vocals. With an upcoming tour in mid August to support the new release, the opportunities that lay in Subversions future are endless. Subversion consists of Bryon Wheeler and Brandon Caron on guitars, Andrew Tolle on bass, Kris Coleman on drums and DJ Beard on vocals.
