I’d like to announce the launch of Tribute Film Classics, a new record label dedicated to the preservation of classic film scores. Our new label is founded by Grammy nominated conductor, William Stromberg, music reconstructionist and composer, John Morgan and myself. We are starting out with a (musical) bang. Our first recording is Bernard Herrmann's complete score for MYSTERIOUS ISLAND, including music and portions of cues that didn't make the final cut of the film. Also, we have just recorded a complete FAHRENHEIT 451 by composer Bernard Herrmann, along with our arrangement of WALKING DISTANCE for large string orchestra. Both albums have been recorded with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra and are due to be released in Nov. 2007 through Screen Archives Entertainment.Tribute Film Classics is a new endeavor for me. I have worked in the film music industry for the past 12 years as a composer, orchestrator, and as a music proofreader. After earning my degree in music composition at USC I went to work for composer, Christopher Young as an assistant and orchestrator for three years. After getting my feet wet in the business, I went to work at Warner Bros. to be part of the music team for Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and many Warner Bros. films. I have composed music for the feature films, The Inner Circle, Dismembered, Army of the Dead, and Sasquatch Hunters for the Sci-Fi Channel. I also orchestrated a number of cues for Starship Troopers 2. Most recently working with Eric Stonerook, we have supervised the music preparation for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Flags of Our Fathers, Letters From Iwo Jima, and Poseidon. I'm currently working on Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem. Check out my husband Bill's myspace page at MySpace URL: http://www.myspace.com/wstromberg
