Kelsey Shelton Smith Briggs is a little girl I hold close to my heart she was born on the 28th dec 2002 and sad fully lost her life tragically on 11th oct 2005 aged 2 years 9 months and 2 weeks.Kelsey was home alone with her stepfather on the day of October 11th when Raye dawn returned home the ambulance was already there. Micheal Porter was originally charged with murder in the first degree which he then got a plea bargain for enabling abuse which he took and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.Kelsey mum was railroaded to prison after members of the Briggs family pushed for her to be charged with either the abuse of Kelsey of enabling the abuse which happened to Kelsey.Raye Dawn was tried and found guilty of enabling the abuse Kelsey suffered and was sentenced to 27 years in prison.
