TUTU & THE BODYROCKETS

About Me

CALUA and FITZ began their musical ambition back in 1984 when they recorded their first demos. Under the influence of bands like Black Flag, Bad Brains, Minor Threat, etc they had a clear aim which way they want to go. About two years later the two maniacs went separate ways to form their own bands. CALUA recruited Martin on drums and Robin for the bass, the Futureflowers were born. FITZ founded the Dread Society together with long-time friends Fred and Karl-Mark. A period of nothing more than skateboarding, music and punk began. The two bands always kept contact over the years and played some unforgettable gigs. On their artistic climax most of the members laid down their instruments quite at the same time - fall 1990. 1994 CALUA and FITZ set up a short time project called Neon God, which culminated in an extraordinary performance the day Kurt Cobain was found dead. They left a disillusioned crowd and then there were no more musical activities worth to mention until the two guys made up their minds to start again around 2001. Here we are, with TUTU & THE BODYROCKETS they break new grounds.
