Ever since the band was founded, LOXODROME has shown remarkable dedication to present their great passion, music, to a broad public audience. Since 2003 the five musicians from Upper Austria have not only been able to inspire the crowd with their music, but have also managed to reach people beyond regional limits.
In both live performances and on recordings, LOXODROME are able to keep up with major acts, as their music can easily compete at an international level.
Their new album State of the Union Speech shows LOXODROME’S great potential. The album is characterized by easy accessibility and deep groves. Heavy riffs and break beat are joined by emotional vocal performances to form a broad and varied wall of sound. A sophisticated arrangement contributes to the tracks being stuck in the listeners’ heads. A great number of positive reviews as well as deals with Innovation Records and Set and Setting Records prove that State of the Union Speech can play in the same league as international acts.
LOXODROME attach great importance to their live performances, as gigs establish direct contact with their fans. Ever since they were founded, LOXODROME has made use of every opportunity arisen to play concerts- in which they heat up the crowd and make them jump. For the reason of increasing their stage presence, LOXODROME have started to cooperate with various European agencies. As a result, the band has played concerts in – amongst others - Vienna, Budapest and London with bands such as Dog Eat Dog, Such a Surge and many more.
