Skiffcore!

About Me

Bender Crack Corn are a Skiffcore outfit from Gillingham, Kent.
Formed by brothers Brad and Blake Harmer in March 2007, Bender Crack Corn reinterpret a mixture of popular, classic and obscure rock and pop songs into a genre that can only be described as "skiffcore", a fusion between the classic punk rock of the seventies and eighties, and the skiffle movement of the fifties and sixties. The following June, Ronnie Warner was added to the line-up on "banjer", one-string bass, and guitar.
They are currently planning to kick start the second skiffle movement.
"Bender Crack Corn are fucking raving mad...Long live Skiffcore!" - Akercocke
"One of the best nights out you can possibly have is to see these guys..." - Pete Tummon, Black 'N' Beard Radio

The pain in my throat that I was talking about a few weeks ago is as nothing compared to the sensation of having chunks of your skin torn off by a tea-chest bass.  We went busking in Canterbury ...

Thanks to all of you who came down last night.  Shame we were a little underpowered on the amplification front (my fault, I'm afraid), but I think that last night was probably the best we've ever...
