About Me

Hello, this is the myspace site for me and my band. The JPJO is a newly formed Stockholm based Jazz orchestra, the band features some of the best young musicians around the Stockholm area. I hope to record a CD sometime next year and I'm currently looking for gigs for the band.
A little about me:
I moved back to Sweden in the spring of 2005 after finnishing my studies at Berklee college of music. My teachers included Joe Lovano, George Garzone, Greg Hopkins, Phil Wilson, Ken Pullig, Frank Tiberi, Bill Pierce and Scott Free. My music has been performed by Stockholm Jazz Orchestra, Bohuslän Big Band,Greg Hopkins Concert Jazz Orchestra and Lin Biviano Urban Outreach Jazz Orchestra. I also led my own band that featured some of Berklee's finest musicians. I was awarded the "Herb Pomeroy Award for outstanding musicianship" from Berklee's Jazz comp department in 2004, and won the Jazzverk contest in 2005. I was also a finalist in 2006 and had prevoiusly been place 2nd in 2004 and 3rd 2003.
