Pretty much anything other than boxing, kung-fu movies, eating liver in any version whatsoever, morons and idiots (unless they're savants and therefore somewhat interesting).
OK, I would really love to have lunch with Sandra Bullock, Oprah and Dolly Parton, in Dolly's big ol' country kitchen. Just some down-home comfort food, us girls and tons of laughter!
Too much to list! I like all genres to a degree (except stuff like Gwar). Love me some indie folkie rock star stuff, classical, jazz, blues, soul, yadda yadda yadda. Some favorite artists tend to also be my friends: Namoli Brennet, Sandra Cartolari, Candye Kane, Diana Jones, Jess Oakenstar, Sister Funk, Vange Durst, Drew Paralic, Uppity Blues Women, and then stuff like good acapella and Big Band, Andrews Sisters, trumpet stuff, choral things, Broadway, etc. Oh hell, forget it, I can't do this list anymore...I love music and will listen to almost everything out there if it's GOOD!
Pretty much all documentaries; suspense, comedy, drama, foreign, old musicals, new musicals, stuff I've never heard of. I just love movies, though, and the escape they provide. FILM FESTS make me obnoxiously happy.
If I did have TV, I'd be addicted, so I don't have it. I would be glued to the Food Network, LOST, CSI, old re-runs of Designing Women, M*A*S*H, I Love Lucy, and god only knows what else. Animal Planet, Movie Channels, some sports (the Olympics for sure), and probably some reality shows, to be quite honest, like The Real World, Road Rules, Survivor, etc. See? This is why I don't have TV...
I love reading, so choosing favorite genres ain't easy, but here's a few to go by: first-person accounts of pretty much anything, mystery, horror, detective murder stuff, history, exploration, comedy...see? Too many faves!
My mom; she rocks and is the best parent a person could ask for in their lifetime! My brother, the (retired) fireman, a REAL hero in every sense of the word!
