The band Smeagal was formed in 2007 by Vincze Szabi who is also the leader and the guitarist in Voices of silence and by Panduru Dorin, guitarist and vocalist in Vespera. They chose this name because it sounds good, funny and Dorin’s voice sounds like Smeagol’s voice (the well-known character from The Lord of the rings). They started to compose and record this material in April. In june Bogdan Moca( drummer in Shadowsail), Ercsey Francisc (keyboards in Voices of silence) and Andrei Calbajos (keyboards in Vespera) joined the band.
The actual line-up consists in: Panduru Dorin – vocals, Vincze Szabi – guitars, Ercsey Francisc – bass, Calbajos Andrei – keyboards and Moca Bogdan – drums.
The plans for the future are to record more and more songs and to promote them in live concerts.Special thanks to The Guxxx for the artwork!!!
