Not so far from Brussels, 1981 is Joe’s birth year.
He’ll pass his early first 13 years in Germany with his parents who provided him a quiet large musical culture. Classic, disco, rock, jazz and much more others where companions of his youth.
Arriving in France aged 14; he’s a young extrovert who shows a great passion for hip-hop. From time to time he’s DJ in parties but also do not hesitate to push out the furniture’s in order to show on for some break dance.
Entering the Techno universe three years later, he developed immediately a great passion for that kind of music what mix so many different style. From that very moment he follows all of the electronic events in the near by.
Sound lover, aged 20, the will to make his own music become an obsession. As often as occasion’s are, he take a great pleasure to take part at some Djembé « b--uf » but also take parts at friends musical events with his own guitar.
In 2005 begins collaboration with his old friend Datashaper. They waited two years building up their project, and in 2007 DirtyFunked is created. Associated some Breakbeat rhythms on very tasty electronic melody, this duet compose with all the technicity from one and all the spontaneity from the other to release their inspirations.
However, some more sober personal creations under the name JoeDaFunk.
Two objectives are providing him a great motivation: Possibility for a live performance with his friend, and sign the original musical part for a not less original movie.
2007 see also the creation of DirtyProd as his investment in that project. Looking forward the promotion for artists he likes trough the world with always and only the very same objective “more and more of good music”.
