I'm a session/studio guitarist for hire living and working in Tulsa, OK. Originally from the SW Missouri area (near Joplin), I honed my talents playing in local rock bands "the Subterraneans" and "Satori Bent", both of which helped me develop my sound/style, and had varying degrees of local/regional success throughout the early-mid 90's. After a 5 year hiatus from playing, and a move to Tulsa in late 2004, I finally began playing guitar again, this time with a new focus and direction. Embracing my love of old-school MoTown, soul, funk, and jazz music (with a dash of my "rock roots") I'm trying to create something "new" out of the "old". I now work as the house guitarist for Pyrric Productions in Tulsa run by my good friend Jason Jamison playing on rap and hip-hop beats for him and the artists he produces and contracts with. Through my work with Jason, I also became acquainted with Rohan Hylton of FirstBorn productions who used my work on CoCo Jones' debut cd "Super Soul Sista" on the track "SuperStar". I'm currently playing with Tulsa recording/performing artist Wendy Nichol, and will soon be going into the studio with her to record her next cd in addition to live performances with her band.
