Rick aka Fr3t the Rukus and Dan aka Danzivar started Subsonic R&D in 2004 with a passion for music. Comming from a background of rock, metal, hip hop, house and hardcore, nothing seemed as intricate and full on as drum and bass.
"We always listened to The Prodigy and Chemical Brothers but we didn't really know what drum and bass was till we got Roni Size - Enter the Mode and it just went from there. Drum n Bass is the sound of the future. This is what music will be become and we want to be part of it."
They coninued to listen to music and go to the local bisbane dnb clubs rearching and developing sounds and tecniques, hence Subsonic R&D.
"Betta step correct to da beats we inject, the bassline n grooves are sure to infect.... ya mind blind take da time to reflect. so throw ya hands in da air n show da respect. uh.. check check it yeah!"
