About Me

Important information:
Do NOT "thx" me for "tha add". This is a stupid practise that should never have been thought of. Also don’t invite me to your awesome group. How awesome this group is is totally irrelevant. Unless it’s a group about MacGyver, I’m not interested.

Biography:
Eye-D is a Dutch drum & bass DJ/producer from Goes, which is a small town in the south of the Netherlands. To be even more specific he is from Goes Noord, which is the toughest hood around. Recognize. Eye-D released his first drum & bass record on Kultbox Records in 1998 and he has been one of the least prolific yet somehow most succesful producers to rise from the Dutch scene ever since; with releases on seminal labels such as Ruff-Teck and Citrus and numerous collaborations with DJ Hidden, Black Sun Empire, Noisa, Counterstrike, SPL and Evol Intent. Eye-D’s productions have resulted in many record releases on a variety of international labels and plenty of DJ performances across the globe. Eye-D’s background in hardcore/gabber results in some unique flavoring in both his DJ sets and his tracks. Expect his sets and tracks to be hard-edged but still very effective on the dancefloor.
Eye-D started out as a hardcore producer in 1992 and didn’t really get serious about DJ-work until 1996 when a promoter asked him to play a DJ set at an event in Amsterdam. Although he had done live PAs before, Eye-D initially wanted to stay away from spinning, but he was instantly hooked after his first set. Eye-D has since played at events across the globe in Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Luxemburg, Poland, Scotland, Spain and the United States. Eye-D is a pretty awesome DJ. He is also part of The Outside Agency , which is possibly even more awesome.
