Rath Music Productions consists of Eoghan Scott and Willem Blok. Eoghan as producer/ musician and Willem as recording engineer/ producer. Combined we have 18 years experience working in the music industry.
Willem is from The Netherlands and started out playing in bands when he was younger. After a few years playing he realised that engineering was something he was good at so set out carving his career as a live engineer in clubs in The Netherlands. He is a graduate engineer and during his college years continued working freelance- most notibly as the in house engineer in the famous 'Doornroosje' venue in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. In 2004, Willem came to Dublin and began working in 'The Cauldron Studios'. He now works full time as a freelance engineer in Ireland and The Netherlands.
Eoghan grew up in a musical family and picked up the guitar aged 11. When he was 15 he began to write songs and play gigs in bars around Dublin. In 2001, he recieved a Higher National Diploma in Performing Arts after having cut his teeth playing in original and cover bands around Ireland and Europe. Acts that he has worked with are; Danny O' Reilly, Sharon Shannon, Q, The Aftermath, Jimmy Smyth, Michele Ann Kelly, Tadgh Cooke, Bill Shanley, Frances and Mary Black, Whirlygig, Rose O' Reilly, Yellowstone, Mary Coughlan, Peter Mc Kinney, Declan Sinnot, etc.
