About Me

Since the age of 17, I has visited the length and breadth of Ireland singing, writing and tinkering away on my acoustic guitar. It's probably easiest to categorise my music as "folk", though I have no idea how it ended up that way considering I was raised on a strict diet of rock, punk and indie! I have paid my musical dues, performing in pubs, clubs, parties, theatres, street corners, fields and churches over the years - supporting the likes of John Spillane, Paul Noonan (Bell X 1), Glen Hansard (The Frames) and Luka Bloom. One of my greatest pleasures is working with other musicians and I have been involved with all sorts of characters continually learning and living along the way.
