Non-Hipster Cleveland Rock and Roll

About Me

From the ashes of Stepsister, Nine Shocks Terror, The Healers and Southern Trespass comes the rock and roll machine that is Amps II Eleven. Triple solos, full stacks, a pretentious prick of a lead singer and denim to spare. This is how rock and roll was meant to be played. Scum and sleaze do not even begin to describe the mammoth sound of Amps 2 fucking Eleven. Equal parts 70s rock, stoner and punk rock Amps is here to drink, fight and destroy your hearing. Grab a tall can and bang your god damn head!
"Formed in the shadow of biker-metalhead pioneers Carmerosmith, Zeke, and Fireballs of Freedom, the beer swigging five-piece eat nails and belch napalm...With a voice like gravel (wroth) can match the intensity of Bon Scott and the snarl of Lemmy. The music therein spills out of this disc like a flaming ball of kerosene." Cutting Edge.net
"Think Dangerous Toys at their most dangerous, or Molly Hatchet really pissed off." 1340 Magazine
" No bullshit thrills and chills with heavy guitar licks and searing guitar solos that would make The Nuge freak out in envy." - Slug Magazine
"Amps II Eleven plays the most basic kind of dirty rock and roll -- just a little faster and more punked than you'd expect. It's like Motorhead with shaved scalps, like Thin Lizzy pierced by safety pins. Everything abrasive about hardcore is plunged into a roiling pot of everything confrontational about hard rock." - Splendid Fanzine
