In 1961, Johnny Cash performed on an outdoor stage at a local fair in Long Beach, California. An 11-year-old boy stood in front and watched.
After his set, Johnny took this captivated boy up on stage and taught him to play "Cotton Fields" and "Sugar In The Morning". This act of kindness from the Great Man would so inspire and enthrall this boy in music that he would devote his life to music.
That boy was Dennis Logan. His involvement in music indeed spans a lifetime. Since forming his first band at 15 years old, Dennis has not stopped writing, recording, producing, and touring the world playing music. After relocating from Los Angeles to Nashville and meeting up with close friend and six time Grammy Award winner Tom Pick, Dennis was offered a long term recording contract with Blue Toad Records.
Dennis was in Nashville producing big name country artists with Tom when his deal came through. He has just finished building a new $500,000 studio and it is ready to receive select talent from around the world.
Mr. Logan owes a lot to "The Man in Black" and today he is ready to pass down this legacy and bestow the gift he was once so honored to receive.
