The Buzzards are two guys from New England who moved away and moved a lot!
Buzz Tremblay and Mike Borgos both grew up in small Massachusetts towns and played in local rock bands around the area. Consequently, they never met until some 30 years later when they both moved back to New England.Mike left Massachusetts after high school to attend Jacksonville University, got married to Janet (wife of almost 30 years) after college and due to his job assignments moved ten times in thirty years; all in the Southeast (Florida, Georgia, North Carolina). He continued to pursue his passion while living in different locations performing professionally with local bands and doing some studio work for singer/songwriters. The most recent move was from Atlanta, GA to Connecticut.Buzz on the other hand stayed around Massachusetts after getting married for a period of time and then moved to North Carolina and Deleware, where he too, continued to pursue his passion as a singer and guitar player. He and his wife Margie (wife of over 30 years) played in a country rock band together and Buzz worked as a highly sought single act along the Delaware shore. In addition, Buzz pursued his songwriting abilities all the while he was working a day job and performing.In the later part of 2004, both Buzz and Mike were transferred back to New England, and met through an ad Buzz had posted at a local music store. The chemistry between the two was instantaneous and they began preparation for a "rock duo" concept to work local venues in Northeast CT and Central MA. Consequently, family called so Buzz and Margie returned to DE to be with family.It was kind of a bummer, but thanks to the internet coupled with the wonders of digital recording the Buzzards still play .. much experimentation, they realized they were no more than an email and mp3 apart. As a result, the Buzzards continued to exist.In the later part of 2007, Buzz once again returned to New England and the boys were reunited to not only record their originals but are available to perform live both original and cover tunes. As a cover duo, the Buzzards perform a wide variety of music from jazz to rock, county, blues, folk and fusion.Just remember; no matter where you go, there you are! :-)The only thing we can say: LISTEN TO THE TUNES.These are ours and these are copyrighted and they tell a great story.Please!!!
