The first couple years were rough but I have learned a lot since I have been here. This city has really started to grow on me. LA is not for everyone. It is a tough city. My advice to anyone moving to LA would be to stick it out the first couple years and give it your all. Enjoy the scene but don't become the scene. Getting sucked into LA's subculture is where most people end up staying the rest of there life while "perusing" there dream. Listen to your heart and not to other people. People in LA carry strong opinions and can easily influence things your not use too. Of course explore things in LA but do it with caution. And most of all, enjoy the journey. There will be a lot of disappointments before you get to the excitement.
