Dastardly Kuts has been spinning and scratching records and CD's around Queensland for over five years and is also an accomplished remixer and producer who is known for chopping up beats, sampling records and remixing his own special brand of house, breaks, and trip Hop goodness. Moving into the technological age, his live shows incorparate more than just decks and a mixer, bringing a laptop, FX units, keyboards and samplers to the mix he manages to create a unique blend of djing, remixing and live show theatrics that make every performance something special.His style is wide and varied and ranges from funked up breaks and hip hop to more downtempo lounge and nu jazz as well as deep, chilled and soulful house, a touch of electro and just a hint of nu school flare.....whatever is required to keep the crowd moving.Working with artist from all over Australia, D Kuts is also known to include live musicians in his shows, with regular appearances from drummers, percussionists, brass, MC's and vocals, all bringing that little something extra to the live show experience.Having played many venues around Queensland including the Step Inn, Jorge on George and Birdy Num Num's as well as many of Brisbanes biggest festivals (whilst still finding time to be the resident DJ for South Bank's lifestyle and fashion expos) D Kuts has honed his skills and made a name for himself as a unique, professional and entertaining DJ/ Musician who brings just what is needed to keep the punters satisfied.
