Sluggfest is an event put on by local musicians for local musicians. Currently the show consists of over 20 bands on 3 stages in one day! Sluggfest started off in a backyard country club, with 10 bands that drew next to very few people.. over the past years and after 10 successful sluggfests, the crowds have gotten bigger, the bands have gotten better, more of the bigger names are wanting in on the action..If your band is interested in joining Sluggfest, about 3 or 4 weeks after the event Skillet will announce we need bands for the next one on www.xtremedfw.com on the message board under general topics. Just keep an eye out there.
The event was origionally put together by local metal band, Lord Slugg, of Watauga, Texas.
