It's Spot from Big Dog 106 here in Beaumont, TX. I'm hosting the Home Grown Local Show every Sunday live from 9p-11pm. I'm still in new territory with the show and we're working everyday to improve it.I've been a fan of all music and always local rock. I've had some changes to my work schedule that actually allow me to go to shows again. (Yeah, I'm moonlighting at another job but not for long)Iâ€™m always looking for local talents. Music:

Well, working at Big Dog 106, I'll have to say ROCK!!!! It's my favorite kind of music but I listen to a lil bit of everything when I'm not working with the Dog. I'm into a lot of bands.

Movies:

mainly action flicks. Jet Li is the man! War movies too. Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, Unleashed, Star Wars (all of 'em)

Television:

The Shield, Sopranos, Adult Swim, pretty much most of Cartoon Network and Comedy Central (I'm still a kid)

Books:

Don't laugh! Here we go, as a nerd (like John), I love Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, Angels & Demons and anything that Michael Crichton or Dave Barry writes. Oh, and Calvin and Hobbes is awesome too!

Heroes:

The muscians that make the music I love! Anyone that is self-motivated and reaches their goals. I admire that.
