Blindingly good tracks leave you with their irresistible personality – and you’ll muse over them in the hazy deafness of the ensuing hours. “Mushroom Tea” will invade your brain. The addictive top line plays tricks with your mind from dawn to dusk – and beyond. Influences like Hendrix, Cream and Small Faces just weren’t quite enough so The 13 weaved in some hypnotic fat synth lines and a sprinkling of arpeggiators to create a new mod-rock.
