Alo!My name is Marco Frangos from rock/ska/punk band, 100% and this is my alter ego-Mellow Marco.Everyone has at least 2 sides to their personality and this is the other side to mine.The perfect counterpoint to Mad Marco from 100%! Yin and yang,day and night! I first discovered Mellow Marco over 10 years ago when I began being drawn to the power of Spirit and alternative realities,I began listening to more sublime and ambient music that is just there to create an atmosphere or backdrop of certain colour,rather than music that makes a statement,expresses something or tries to be something. This is music that just IS! The Seedling was the first thing I did,originally as meditation background,over 10 years ago,it still stands as one of my proudest musical moments! I actually gave away(for nowt!)over 100 copies on tape at that time and had amazing feedback from old and young alike,some people even wore out their tapes from over use and many a child was helped to sleep. CAUTION!Do not drive or operate machinery while listening to Mellow Marco!It all started when I bought a tape called "Angel Love" by Aeoliah and one day just started playing along with my bass,every one around at that time was like "wow that sounds good"and i thought "innit!" so i made some recordings playingalong with the original and then after a few years i got a Juno 60 synth and recreated in my own way the original so as to have my own ethereal background for my new found mellow Marco bass style.How the music was recorded.....
