Grooooove Baby!
That's what Suns of Thunder are all about. Good, honest, loud heavy music that gets you dancing. This isn't some band that are going to be whining on about ex-girlfriends or how daddy didn't give the reach around. We're talking about all the good things in life! Life's to short to be shouting blue murder at hopeless causes. Light, energy and good times will fuel the soul. Rock and Roll will be our salvation through these foul years of our lord... so turn up that stereo and feel the groove.
Suns of Thunder was formed in the summer 2000 and has seen various line up changes over the past few years. The current line-up, finally solidified by new boys Chris on bass and Sam on drums continues to progress forward in the direction of a heavy melting pot of primal roots blues, 70's rock'n'roll and swampy southern fried groove. Previous releases include the Billy Anderson produced Tennessee Smile single which was well received by the British rock press. The band have also had the pleasure of sharing the stage with the likes of Orange Goblin, Alabama Thunder Pussy, 5ive's Continuum Research Project, Electric Wizard, Cathedral, Firebird, Sloth, Bottom and Warhorse.
