The Groundnuts and Independents

About Me

We're a three-piece band, based in Swansea, UK, that play punk (and) rock to those who want to hear it, and also some who don't.To be honest, we don't even know how long we've been together as a band, but we're guessing it all started around 1991/92. All in all, it's been and continues to be a right old laugh. We've played with some great bands, made some good friends, and had loads of good times.During our years in the field, we've had some breaks/fallow periods, due to births, deaths, marriages etc., but the line up now is as it's always been, and always will be.Like the Bear said, "It's good to drink with your friends Jack!"

"Friends"

I just noticed that we now have 498 "friends". This is terrible for several possible reasons: 1) We're never going to remember all your names and may even not say hello when we see you.  That wil...
