With dark forebodings too.

About Me

It started with a simple strum on a guitar along with a few crappy beats by Ryan Dean and Mike Bush about 6 years ago. "Man, those were the days.. jamming after school everyday." - Mike Bush. You see, Ryan Dean and Mike Bush got their start together years ago. "At first we attempted to cover songs but that didn't work too well. We wanted to do our own thing.. make our own music!" - Ryan Dean. At the time, Mike Bush was really growing as a musician and really wanted to start exposing his music to the world. So he moved on to start Defy All Logic, an experimental band, and stuck with that for a couple years. At that time Ryan Dean was playing in another band, PrePackaged Peace. "Throughout those years, despite being in a different band, me and Mike still played together all the time." - Ryan Dean. After some time, those bands ended up breaking up for one reason or another but Mike and Ryan continued jamming together. "We kind of questioned ourselves, why, after so much time, weren't we playing in the same band." - Ryan Dean. So this is when the band really started to form and take shape, somewhere around 2005. Of course, they were still short a singer and bassist. Late 2005 they met Ryan Rachal and Jamal. They began to jam as a full band. Ryan Dean on drums, Mike Bush on guitar, Ryan Rachal on the mic and guitar, then of course Jamal on bass. The band name was decided and it stuck, Suddenly. After a little under a year of gigging, the band started to split up. Drugs, heavy drinking and arguing weren't of any help. Ryan Dean and Jamal decided to leave the band early 2007. Though, Ryan Rachal and Mike Bush continued to play. They tried a few other drummers but none seemed to fit right. After about 4 months, Ryan Dean began to jam with Ryan R. and Mike again. "I cleaned myself up and worked out my issues with Mike. This band is going somewhere, I believe in it - we all do. I'm just glad to be back in the swing of things and moving toward success." - Ryan Dean. Ever since, the band has been working on completely new material and polishing the older stuff. "Be ready for something different. We're back but with a darker sound. We're not sane anymore." - The band.
