JonesTown RIPPS at WEBSTER HALL!!
JonesTown kicked some serious ass at Webster Hall last Friday night... Playing to a sold out packed audience of fellow musicans and fans alike. At the end of the night ... Timmy Rockmore was ranked as the Third best guitar player in the competition... A big hearty thanks goes out to all the other bands who supported us and to our fans who came out for the event. See you next year!
JonesTown Rocks Crash Mansion and Advances to the Finals at WEBSTER HALL!
JonesTown featuring Freddie Mac (guitar vocals), Timmy Rockmore (guitar vocals), Ross Kantor (drums vocals), and Steve Paelet (bass) are still competing in the Emergenza International Battle of The Bands Compettition. After selling out in pre-paid tickets (over 140 sold at Bitter End and over 120 sold at Crash Mansion), Then qualifying and winning the next round at Crash Mansion the band is now headed to the final round at WEBSTER HALL Friday, July 6th at 9:00pm... We need your support more than ever! PLEASE COME OUT AND VOTE FOR JONESTOWN!!!

To all who came out to the Webster Hall and Crash Mansion shows, and to all the new friends we made, and on behalf of all the members of JonesTown, we would like to offer our deepest thanks. Because of you, we made it to the finals after selling out in pre-paid tickets (over 150 sold at Webster Hall) and with 98 official votes! (over 120 sold at Crash Mansion) and with 80 official votes! We were able to make ourselves know to the record labels and Industry Judges at Webster Hall. Great things are soon to follow.

Timmy Rockmore has played with many bands including a memorable sold out show at Irving Plaza (Sony International Tour) opening for "The Kings Of Leon" and "The Coral" (Sony) Summer 2004.
Currently Tim is playing guitar in the band JonesTown and ocassionally recording for various Artists. He keeps busy writing songs and has tracked sessions and spots for television. Recent Sessions include Lifetime TV, and CBS - Food Network.
Bio: Bands & History
Timmy Rockmore has been playing guitar since age 12. He started on the New York club scene at seventeen, became a seasoned touring professional at age 20. Tim has played in many bands, and has a few major-market national tours under his belt. His guitar playing has been featured on jingles (Sprite and Sears etc.) and session recordings for various television commercials and pilots.
Among other things he was the former guitar gun for Chemlab (Fifth Column / Metal Blade). He was also a founding member of Girls Of Porn, (G.O.P.) with singer Ray West-Spread Eagle (MCA Records), and Randy Rollner (who now plays bass in Blood Orange Inc). Tim has also played with Blockk 16 ...other members included Ray Freeman, Rick Skatore-247Spyz (Island/Atlantic) and BadBrains and Chriss Caffery-Savatage (Relativity Records/Atlantic).
Timmy Rockmore was also a founding member of the NYC indie-pop rock band Brother Mustard. Brother Mustard was part of the NYC Rock scene with bands like The Spin Doctors, Living Color, Blues Traveler, Gov't Mule, Milo Z and Nada Surf.
Chemlab: For those who don't know
Chemlab was very big in the world Industrial scene. The band has influenced many big bands includuing Stabbing Westward and White Zombie (who went with ADATs after thier tour w Chemlab). Chemlab has toured with Nine Inch Nails, White Zombie, KMFDM, Sister Machine Gun, GWAR etc. The orginal Chemlab guitar player Gino Leonardo, now plays in Filter.
Chemlab was also featured in The "Twelve Monkey's Movie" - Bruce Willis... You can see the bands posters in a bunch of scenes. Chemlab was also on the Mortal Combat Soundtrack.
