METALFIER - NYC Heavy MetalAndrew - Vocals/Guitars/bassI've started playing Guitar when i heard the "Black" album, (that's the summer of '91, it's when I moved from Poland to NYC). I formed my first band Disillusion when i was 14. We recorded an album in 1998, which got good reviews but the masterpiece died unnoticed in the NYC death metal underground. Few years later after playing lots of shows in the Tri-state area, the band broke up. But I 've lived on, and my love for Heavy Metal music and guitar playing, grew stronger. In 2001 I formed another band which at the beginnig carried the same name , then Powertrip- (soon to be changed ,as well as the line -up), to METALFIER. METALFIER debut cd "Sex Drugs Heavy Metal" saw the light of day in 2001, as the U.S. Tour followed the release, tensions, addictions grew within the band ,and even though after receiving good reviews and playing alot of shows another line-up change was needed. For the last couple of years I've been jamming with numerous and various musicians in NYC scene, but until this day I didn't connect with anyone, spiritually or professionaly. So finally I decided to escape the long cold winter of NY and move to the sunny "Heavy Metal" kingdom, Los Angeles, California. And so the story coninues... This is not the end it's just the Beginning.
