About Me

Kory Clarke's vision permeates the proceedings: The band he created, Warrior Soul, which started from his spoken word performances on New York City's Lower East Side. From the trippy Doors-influenced debut to some of the punk-oriented and heavy metal material, Kory is a man on a mission, combining tradtion with avante guard creativity. In 2006, Escapi re-released the band's back catalogue. All tracks on all albums have been remixed and remastered. Assembling a new band, one member at a time, over a 5 year period from England and Sweden, Kory headed back out on the road in 2006 for 3 very successful tours around the UK and select gigs in Europe. 2008 saw the release of the Live in England album and a short promotional tour taking in London, Sweden and a return to New York City . These were the first dates to feature new bassist Janne Jarvis ( Radiator, Hate Gallery) in the band. The New Studio Album (Chinese Democracy) will be available October 16th for the kick off of their American tour at Chicago's famous Double Door. October 16th 2008 will be a historic night in Chicago indeed.
