I am now involved with metro Detroit's best new music venue.. Callahan's in Auburn Hills. It's a state of the art room, I'm doing stage management as well as sound and lighting. Also I'm managing the Protools live digital multi tracking for the "Live At Callahan's" project that is currently in development. The test recordings are STELLAR.More on this soon... . . . ***NAME DROPPING ALERT*** Born in Pittsburgh, grew up in Detroit, moved to NYC went to New York University for acoustics and music. Worked at some great studios with some great people..Electric Lady Studios, Sound Works (in the basement of the old studio 54) and Skyline Studios, the BBC to name a few. My first gig out of NYU was with Shep Pettibone doing dance mixes for Janet Jackson and Madonna. The most notable bands that I was in: Warrior Soul, 67 RIOT, New World Vision, Earth, Freak Parade...The best show was either Donington with Metallica or some Pub in King's Cross U.K. Played shows with Metallica, White Zombie, Skid Row, Biohazard, Motorhead, New Order, Type O Negative, Sisters of Mercy, C.O.C. The Almighty, Fear Factory, Monster Magnet, Adrian Belew, Slash's Snake Pit, ClawFinger, Slayer, Misery Loves Co. Machine Head, Apes Pigs and Spacemen, Bang Tango etc..etc..Frank Zappa and I were label mates for awhile..that still cracks me up.. (actually he had left us, but was distributed thru the same co. (still qualifies..I called it)). I had a recording studio in Williamsburgh (that I sold to L7), Brooklyn..and Hollywood, CA. My last band was with Kory Clarke (Warrior Soul) and Billy Duffy (Cult).. Now I'm based in Detroit but travel producing and engineering also scouting talent and writing my own music. Give me a GOOD project underground or commercial and I'm all over it..Currently working on an album...and it's about time..my musical interests cover a lot of ground...music is here for all moods and emotional states..and memories.
