This one is an experiment. Sort of like an "Inner-Circle" I found that I was being rather conservative on the initial profile as most of my friends there are co-workers, associates & a couple of relatives. Certainly there are friends there as well, I hope they find this site and request to be added as a friend here as well, but I'm not actively promoting that.
As conservative as that site may be, I plan on this page to be a bit more free. While I too can be over the top, and even sometimes flamboyant, when it comes down to it, I'm simply a middleaged gay, bald, perhaps overweight guy who's monogomously wed to my best friend.
So where does that put me? Well, I'm not part of the youthful beautiful people who believe the world is their oyster. Instead I'm mature and like to think that my life experiences give me a more realistic "grown-up" perspective on things.
I'm not into circuit parties or drinking or drugs or fooling around. If that's your world, well good for you, I hope you're enjoying yourself and being safe and not hurting anyone else. I won't judge you, so don't judge me. I've been that route, I've survived that, and now have come out the other side of it.
That all being said, no, I'm not a sell out or trying to pretend to have a str8 lifestyle. On the contrary, I was once married to a woman, my trying to fit into that world was pretend and nearly killed me. This is my real world.
OH YEAH - no guilt by association, please! I'll tell you right now that not all my friends are gay. Some are straight but not narrow. (thanks guys!) If I can be a gay in a straight world, and not be diminish as a member of the so called gay society, then there can be straights in my gay world and it doesn't diminish their being straight. I'm McLovin' it!
