I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it. Thanks, Rob Brezsny. I am a picture framer in the daytime, painter, piano player, and writer of poetry at night. I like to talk to interesting people. I like to go on long walks downtown. I like to play on my computer. I like people who have open and logical minds.

My Interests

Painting, piano, science, writing music, string theory & time/relativity, climate change, the universe we live in, people, places, and things...architecture, sociology, and writing. Interests are sometimes questions. Mine are; do animals have souls? Do plants feel pain when you cut them? Why do we have wars instead of respect and understanding?

Painting is what I like to do more than anything else. Here are photos of some of my paintings

Life is a garden, not a road. We enter and exit through the same gate, wandering. Where we go matters less than what we notice. ~ Bokonon

WITHDRAWING

I AM NOT A CROOK

Well, there is one thing I have a slight problem with that some people might consider a little crooked. I love to steal ink pens. Anytime someone hands me a pen to, say, sign a credit card receipt, ...

PRESS CONFERENCE

Apparently none of you watched my press conference last night on WLOL channel 735. Despite the fact it was the only broadcast in television history to get a 0 rating, I am not discouraged. WLOL did ...

A FEW CLARIFICATIONS

I have been asked to clarify a few things about my candidacy for president. "Why are you running?" is a question I am asked frequently. Well, my current job just doesn't pay enough. I am running be...

SOME THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW

It has been brought to my attention that, as a candidate for president, I should clear up a few things about myself. It is true, as some of you already know, I have three myspace pages. I have "musi...

UNDERSTANDING GREATNESS

I live in a city associated with kings. Memphis was named for a regal city--the ancient capital of Egypt. Elvis was, of course, "the King." And we have the great B.B. King. Tonight I want to talk ...

CHANGE THE MESSAGE

Our society has progressed, but not enough. When I was young, I felt compelled to participate in the derision of homosexual people in order to protect myself. The important thing is the galvanizatio...

LIFE DISCOVERED ON PLANET EARTH

When I posted my last blog (IT IS TIME FOR A REVOLUTION), I was convinced our society had gone to hell in a handbasket and all humanity had disappeared from the planet. Well, our society has gone to h...

IT IS TIME FOR A REVOLUTION

I spent several hours this weekend in a hospital with someone as dear to me as anyone ever was or will be. She is being kept "alive" by machines, but I don't think she is alive. So I am NOT in a good ...
