The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue had it's debut in 1974 and has been popular ever since! It is the absolute FUNNIEST live show Disney has to offer and promises you will not leave hungry! Your sides will ache from laughter as you are served a most plentiful dinner. The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is an all-you-can eat dinner along with a knee-slapping musical comedy for all ages at Pioneer Hall located in Fort Wilderness at Walt Disney World. Sweet Flora and her cowboy companion Jim sing beautifully. Claire has the funniest laugh and her companion, Johnny Ringo, is as handsome as can be. The funniest characters are Dolly, the pretty redhead, and Sixbits Slocum, the teller of un-BEARable jokes! Dolly is constantly reminding Sixbits he can't sing. Ironically, Sixbits has a most wonderful "Broadway" type voice! The menu consists of tossed salad and fabulous corn bread, delicious fried chicken, smoked barbecued pork ribs, mashed potatoes, cowboy baked beans, beverages including Coca Cola Classic, Diet Coke, root beer, Sprite, orange, pink lemonade, unsweetened iced tea, apple juice, milk, chocolate milk, hot tea, coffee, Draft Bud Light, Chardonnay, Rose, Sangria, and Merlot, and for a scrumptious dessert strawberry shortcake. A vegetarian and/or a kosher meal can be requested by calling 72 hours ahead of time for the request. For an additional fee you can always purchase a Corona, Sam Adams, Miller Lite, O'douls, Heineken, or Margarita. Glow Cubes can be added for an additional fee, too! There are three performances every night at 5:00pm, 7:15pm, and 9:30 p.m. Each performance runs for approximately two hours. Reservations may be made 180 days in advance. Those not staying at Fort Wilderness can drive, take the boat from the Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge or Magic Kingdom, or take a bus from the Ticket and Transportation Center. Pre-payment is required. Prices are: Category 1. Adult - $59.99 Child - $30.99 Category 2. Adult - $54.99 Child - $26.99 Category 3. Adult - $50.99 Child - $25.99 Note: Tax AND gratuity are included in all prices. Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance. Hoop De Doo Review Review!

By Thankful..

In August of 2004 we took a nine-person family vaca to Disney. It was the first time at the Hoop De Doo for my kids and me so we didn't know quite what to expect. We knew it would be fun, of course. After all, this was Disney! The performance was phenomenal. These are professional people who will make you laugh and entertain you all night. The ad-libbing when they came into the audience was great. I am in awe of people who can do that. My daughter was 16 at the time, and was adamant about not being one of the chosen ones to end up on stage for the final performance. But, of course, they chose her. We convinced her to go up and experience the show from another perspective. She had a blast and so did we. The best thing about the show is that it is apparent that these people love what they do, and wouldn't want to be doing anything but making your night enjoyable. I probably don't have to tell you how good the food was. After all, this was Disney! I can't wait to Hoop De Doo again.

Review - From Debbie- Davenport Florida

A group of 7 of us went for my birthday, we ranged in age from 12-47. This would be my 10th time, although it had been 9 years since my last visit to the Hoop-de-doo. We went Sept 1, 2007.

We got there only about 5 mins before show time, b/c we were late getting to parking lot then had to wait for the bus.

When you get to Pioneer Hall you check in with the person with the clipboard, have your pic taken, and then join the masses just waiting around. We booked early and had cat 1 seats, table 22, which was to the left side of the stage by the steps and really good seats in our opinion.

Everyone liked the food. The salad, corn bread and the chicken were great, and everyone else loved the ribs, but my ribs were all fat. They changed out the corn on the cob for mashed potatoes, which were decent, but we agreed we missed the corn. We also liked the sangria, who doesn't like wine served in a mug? Ask for a pitcher and you won't have to wait on the server for your refills. The dessert, strawberry shortcake was good as well. We all loved the show, and laughed the whole time. It is def. corny but the actors do such a good job, you go along with it all. 4 out of our 7 had never been and we all agreed we would do it again. The show is great for all ages. This was a great show and worth it, we even bought the picture taken before the show!
