Disney's Contemporary Resort

About Me

I am one of the original three hotels at The Walt Disney World Resort. I was born on October 1, 1971, I was the jewel in the crown at WDW Resort. I am most famous for my fifteen story A-Frame design, and the Walt Disney World Monorail System station inside the Grand Canyon Concourse (4th Floor). I have two pools, one with a water slide. Numerous recreational activities are available at my marina. These activities include boat rental, water skiing, para-sailing, and tube riding. I am situated between Bay Lake, and the Disney created Seven Seas Lagoon. Guests with a Magic Kingdom view are able to view the Magic Kingdom's fireworks show, "Wishes," while guests with a Bay Lake view can enjoy the nightly Electrical Water Pageant, featuring King Neptune, and other creatures of the deep. I am within walking distance to the Magic Kingdom, guests may board the Resort Monorail to the Disney Ticket and Transportation Center to board another monorail to Epcot. Guests may stay on the Resort Monorail and travel to Disney's Polynesian Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, and the Magic Kingdom. I am currently undergoing another massive refurbishment to keep up with the name. The current refurbishment includes flat screen televisions, new furniture, decor, and bathroom amenities.
