Lots....exercise and sport (running, cycling, swimming, circuit training etc), music lots and lots (to listen to and play...play cornet, organ/keyboard/piano, sing and trying to play the guitar!) Also reading, theatre, films, socialising with friends, meeting people.......basically anything that involves HAVING FUN!!
Ha, there's a few people!
Very varied tastes and I am quite open minded where music is concerned...... Fave singer/songwriter is KT Tunstall for defo! Her music rocks BIG time! Also like Damien Rice, Arcade Fire, Athlete, Karine Polwart, Missy Higgins, The Magic Numbers, Jon Allen, Ed Harcourt, Amplifico, Madonna, King Creosote, The Divine Comedy, Jeff Buckley, Ray LaMontagne, Willy Mason, Amplifico, Brandi Carlile, Eimear Bradley, Tim Pare, Jess Klein, Alana Levandoski, Seth Lakeman, Jack Johnson, Snow Patrol, The Killers, Ryan Adams, Freddie Stevenson, Pretty Little Things (with the Pepsta!), Martha Tilston, James Morrison, Coldplay, Elbow, The Fray, Emily Smith, Julie Fowlis, Rosie Jones and if we're talking old school then Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Nina Simone, David Bowie, Joni Mitchell, The Rolling Stones, Abba, The Flaming Lips, Cat Stevens.........and the list goes on and on, it's endless.........I just love music!!!! Give me more, more, more!!!
My taste in films is a bit like my taste in music...varied. Funny, when asked what are my fave movies I can never answer it. There's just too many! I LOVED 'The Shawshank Redemption', 'Closer' and 'Walk the Line' recently-ish.
The L word (love it!), Casualty (and anything with hospitals in - yeah, sorry!), Planet Earth, any real life police type, real people/life stories type things and that's about it really. Don't watch much TV really!
Varied taste yet again! I much enjoyed most recently 'The Lovely Bones' by Alice Sebold - great book, if a bit weird! A book that had a massive impact on me was 'Before I Say Goodbye' by Ruth Picardie. Another great book, 'The Death and Life of Charlie St.Cloud' by Ben Sherwood.
Well, that shall remain personal to me!
