About Me

Auresia is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, artist. Born in Edmonton, and now living in Montreal, she has performed her original roots compositions in and around both cities for the last 5 years. Hers is a new urban blend of contemporary island roots music. With words, melody, meditative riddims and her hauntingly angelic voice, she continues the tradition of raising consciousness with song, a musical/spiritual movement originating in a small island in the Carribean many decades ago and carrying on till the present. Auresia has played throughout Edmonton, Calgary, and the Rocky Mountain area, including the 5th Annual Koots Roots Reggae Festival in B.C., and many Montreal venues. She has recently played in Jamaica where she also linked up with various artists and studios. Auresia's music is played on IRIE FM Jamaica, CKUT Montreal, Koots Radio B.C. and Edmonton CJSR radio. Her self-produced debut album will be out this Summer! One Love.
