The members of LINDAHL BRINGNER are Peter Lindahl and Anders Bringner, two old friends from Stockholm in Sweden, who have been singing and playing together since they were very young. The music is composed by Anders who is also responsible for doing most of the lead vocals while Peter regularly doubles behind the microphone but also adding layers of harmonies and playing as well as arranging almost every instrument you can hear. Something which he also does in another major project of his called IN THE LABYRINTH which you can also find on Myspace. However, this involves a more experimental type of music which is mostly instrumental and often with a reference to the Orient. The piano accordion heard on several of the LINDAHL BRINGNER tracks is handled by Miriam Oldenburg, who usually indulges in Jewish klezmer and is a leading profile in several orchestras and constellations around Stockholm. Besides being devoted to Peter´s and Ander´s common icons Simon & Garfunkel, Anders compositions are largely influenced by Swedish, British, Russian, Gypsie and Jewish East European folk music and various other gengres, while Peter´s arrangements encompass everything from Italian Renaissance via all sorts of Ethnical forms of music to Beatles, Brian Wilson and you name it! The lyrics of the songs presented with this profile were written by Anders and the renowned Swedish poets Per Lagerkvist, Karin Boye and also one of England´s great classical artists/poets William Blake. However, there are several songs - eventually to be featured on their upcoming CD album - in which the lyrics have been cowritten by Peter.
