Iristho en Parodo formed in 2005.A group of musicians that aspire, with the passing of time, to offer their audiences well-turned musical propositions, that are complete in their arrangement.What they propose musically is based on their own instrumental compositions and arrangements from a carefully selected repertoire that covers a wide musical spectrum from jazz standards, traditional melodies and compositions of contemporary musicians varied in their musical cultures.Iristho en Parodo, following the triptych: respect towards the musical form of the original composition, an improvisational mood and a special emphasis on the arrangement, aspire to create an original and sincere sounding result, avoiding the trap of a superficial fusion that often characterizes the modern and much advertised ‘ethnic’ scene! They are a company of individuals who love music, express themselves and communicate through it.
