The FolkSong Revival

Music for Tired Lovers

About Me

The FolkSong Revival is, literally, a revival of all things folk...and we're not talking about Joni here. We're talking about "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" for adults. We thrive on the art of simplicity and memory. Songs that stick to your ribs like a good steak. However...where's pre-school lullabye's without the participation? Every fan of The Revival is welcomed to participate in any way they know how, or want to, would love to...la la la la...The stage is set for different faces and talent and no 2 shows are ever the same...A giant green bag full of bells, shakers and other assorted what-nots await the talent, compassion, and fury of the listener. We invite all to sing, snap, clap, shake, play, scream, sway, and listen along to what the basic melody is. Music is for the masses and the masses deserve a role. The music is made to please the ear and we will not stop until everyone has shaken at least one tamborine...and perhaps...glued on, or grown...a glorious handlebar moustache.Spiced with other influences and driven by the day job of being a pre-school music teacher...the headliner of this project wants all that you can give and is willing to give back as much as she gets. She...meaning me. I hope I've reached some of you...and if I have...well...come on stage and play something. Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
